Finally releasing full length Live Aquarian Sadhana

Dear Divines,

After living in India for almost five years, my teacher sent me to teach in South America with my Chilean singing partner, Sat Paavan Kaur. Our beloved teacher, Dr. Ustad Narinder Singh Sandhu, gave our duo the name Bibi Nanki Jatha.

I arrived in Santiago, Chile, in 2011. Over the next few months, we taught throughout Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, and Colombia. The yoga communities were incredibly welcoming, and it was pure joy to share Indian classical music and the love of sacred note singing that we learned from Ustadji.

Eventually, I settled in Santiago and fell completely in love with Narayan Yoga, a thriving Kundalini yoga community. I joined them for early morning practice whenever I wasn't traveling, and it was during this time that I made a profound commitment: to lead the chanting for early morning Sadhana for 40 days in a row.

Every morning at 5:00 AM, I woke up early to catch a ride or borrow a car to drive to the yoga center. The only time I ever felt relaxed driving through that massive city was early in the morning before the city awoke! I made my way to the beautiful, converted attic space with slanted ceilings. In those quiet hours, I let the mantras come through me, inspired by the scales of Hindustani Classical Raag. This practice altered the course of my life; it was during this time that I met my son's father, leading to my son being born and raised in Chile for his first five years.

Though I recorded these mantras so many years ago while living in Chile, my perfectionism—which I am now happily recovering from—kept me from sharing all seven tracks.

I am so excited to finally share the very first, complete live video recording of these morning mantras, closing with the traditional Long Time Sun song.

For this 1-hour and 17-minute live session, I was joined by my dear friend and phenomenal musician, Joss Jaffe, on tablas and tanpura. Joss stepped in without ever having played all of these mantras with me before—including a rare 5-beat tala called Jhampak for 22 minutes of the Wahe Guru mantra.

This moment was captured by Meiron Egger, the producer of my upcoming album Holy, on the beautiful forest patio of Jami Matlock, our scene designer extraordinaire. Lit by candlelight and surrounded by fresh bouquets of Queen Anne’s Lace, the evening was magical—you might even spy Graton, a beautiful Siamese cat, wandering through the set.

May these mantras bring you into stillness, connect you to the Divine within and fill your day with grace.

A Story From India — And How Holy Is Coming to Life

Dear Divines,

Thank you from the depths of my heart to everyone who has contributed to and shared my crowdfunding launch for Holy. We have already raised $4,099 with a small but incredibly generous group of supporters. I am so moved by the outpouring of love for this project.

As we continue toward our $17,000 goal, I want to share about my journey to India that lives at the root of this album.

Leap That Changed My Life

Years ago, I was afraid to travel alone to India. But a wise friend of mine who was traveling in Amritsar told me she had a vision during meditation — a vision of me studying music with the teacher who lived next door to her. Something inside of me must have been waiting for that moment and with her guidance, I decided to go. I was about 31 years old.

The first time I heard my teacher, Ustaad Narinder Singh Sandhu, sing, my heart shattered into a million beautiful pieces. It was as if my spirit suddenly became unbound and I finally understood what it meant to sing.

My teacher still lovingly teases me about how I arrived in India thinking I was already a musician. Many of you know me from Copper Wimmin, where I had been singing and performing since I was 19. But the moment I heard his voice, I realized I knew nothing about Music at All!

I intended to stay 2½ months… and instead stayed for almost five years.

Now, nearly twenty years later, I continue to study with him. Every note I sing carries the devotion and deep love that I received from my teacher — a reflection of the Great Beloved.

This devotional album, Holy, is the weaving together of this lifelong classical training and the my transformational experience with A Course in Miracles. These songs are prayer mantras —reminders of our inherent holiness and worth.

🌟 How Close We Are

With $4,099 already raised, we are on our way to reaching our goal.
If everyone on this email list or visiting this page contributed just $16, we would reach our $17,000 goal — and begin bringing Holy fully to life.

Every offering helps birth this album into the world.

🤍 If you aren’t able to give financially

You can still support Holy in a powerful way by sharing the video with friends, family, or any online groups or communities you’re part of. Your sharing expands this circle of love more than you can imagine.

Thank you for helping spread this message of LOVE for ALL.

With all my devotion,
Kiranjot Kaur

Support The Birth of HOLY

Dear Divines,

I am filled with so much joy and gratitude to start recording my album called Holy.

These songs are prayers, mantras, and a roadmap for the heart — inspired by my daily practice with the lessons of A Course in Miracles.

My journey with A Course in Miracles began over ten years ago while I was living and singing in Santiago, Chile. I was a new mother in a foreign country, feeling deeply alone and struggling in my marriage. I had already been living as a yogi, an activist, and a seeker and had been studying for nearly five years in Amritsar, India under my beloved teacher, Ustad Narinder Singh Sandhu. Yet, despite all this spiritual seeking, I still found myself wrestling with feelings of unworthiness, and the painful belief that I was unlovable.

That’s when, out of desperation, I discovered Marianne Williamson’s lectures on romantic love and holy relationships through the teachings of A Course in Miracles.

For several years, I listened avidly to her talks and participated in her livestreams. Eventually, I took her advice:

“If these lectures resonate with you, you might want to try reading A Course in Miracles.

At first, I resisted the unfamiliar language, the masculine pronouns, and even the word “God”was uncomfortable for me.I decided to approach it as an experiment—to simply do the daily lessons and see if they might soften my inner judgments and self-criticism.

Slowly, I began to notice a shift in my peace of mind. I was inspired by the idea that Love is all there is, and from that realization, new songs began to pour through..

Four years into the daily practice, my life has been completely transformed. I am not the same person I once was.

When I was younger, some thought I didn't speak because I was so shy. Even during my years performing with my childhood friends in our successful vocal trio Copper Wimmin, I was deeply self-critical. Nothing I achieved seemed to touch the core of my self doubt. I battled depression and often felt I did not want to be alive and living on this planet.

Now, I am filled with joy everyday. I am deeply grateful for the gift of being alive — to share, to sing, and to connect. I no longer suffer from anxiety or depression. I no longer wear perfection like an albatross around my neck. I am ready to share my music, my experiences, and my love —boundlessly.

I love meeting new people and seeing each encounter as a divine appointment. I trust in every experience that life brings. Above all, I know now that I am a holy child of the Divine, loved beyond measure. There is nothing to prove and nothing to do — only to remember that I am inherently worthy.

And I want you to know that truth about yourself, too.
That is what Holy is — and what it is for.

My hope is that as you listen and sing these songs, you will remember that

Love is what you are.

Please contribute whatever amount you are able to, with your support, we can co-create this offering and amplify the healing power of these sacred songs. Please know that donating to this campaign is only part of how you can support this project. It is equally important to share this video and campaign page with anyone who you think would connect with it! Please help me spread it far and wide!

I have been working since late Spring on this project and today it has finally emerged! This is the launch day of my first ever crowdfunding campaign. It is timed to start today on the new moon and end on Dec 31—I didn't  plan that—but Divine did! I also recently received guidance that I should record as much of the album as possible (Goddess willing) between the Winter Solstice and New Years Eve as these are considered sacred Holy nights for connecting with the return of the light, deep reflection, and planting seeds for the coming year. Let's plant these seeds of Love and watch them spread and grow far and wide!

With all my love, gratitude and devotion,
